Mystery Mosaics 2

Once scattered throughout the land, the Mosaics of the Ancients have been gathered and brought together at the cradle of their once-glorious civilization. As the only one with the knowledge to decipher their riddles, it now comes to you to free their magic and use it to restore the City of the Ancients and bring a new Golden Age to the kingdom. Mystery Mosaics II is a nonogram (aka Picross, Pic-a-Pix or Paint-by-Numbers) with a colorful twist: this time around, each mosaic is made up of three different colors, each of which must be solved separately for three times the fun. The more precise and efficient you are in solving the game’s 100 levels, the more points you’ll earn and the faster you’ll be able to rebuild the structures of the ancient city.

What a wonderful game this is!! Personally I could care less about this aspect. Write a post! The game is Good, But The colors are also vivid and easy to see. Pictures are clear you can make out what they are Music fits. Definitely worth running through the demo, it was very simple initially, but got more complex quickly. Anyway, this is a great mosaic puzzle game. You will earn points for each grid solved, the more stars you earn, the more points you'll earn. In this puzzle, create pictures by filling in squares in a grid. Game is logic. As you play the one-hundred puzzles within this game, you will earn points which will be used to purchase buildings and other items for this new town.

Points are earned as per time used to complete the puzzle, amount of errors, and stars earned. The pictures do make sense, and the colors are different enough to give them depth, but they aren't all that appealing at times. Overall, a wonderful game for all ability levels. What a wonderful game this is!! While I find the Fantasy Mosaics series the best of the genre, the end play of completing the penguin diorama does nothing for me as the grids themselves are all I need to satisfy. Highly recommended. What's new is you build the buildings. I have been waiting for this game to come to Big Fish Games for quite a while now Note that your review won't be visible right away: our team checks it before we post it publicly. The graphics are hand drawn, but basic, and there are only 3 colors available, at least within the demo, perhaps more colors are added as you progress. On the bright side, at least they are puzzles that are solved by logic, not guessing like so many other games offered. It allows you enough errors that you aren't starting over all the time--unless you are going for that perfect score. Except for those players who are totally new to this style of game I won't go into detail as to how they are solved. Just let me go on to the next puzzle, please. Please note that we can't help you out if you write about it in your post.

  1. Though I like that series, too! So for me this game is a must have. What's new is you build the buildings.

  2. Kudos to the Developers on a fantastic game, job well done!! Sudoku arranges the numbers 1 thru 9 in a pattern where none of these numbers can be repeated in the same row either horizontally or vertically. This might sound silly to others, but the colors in the actual mosaics were drab, drab, drab. It allows you enough errors that you aren't starting over all the time--unless you are going for that perfect score.

  3. Stars are awarded as to number of errors you make in completing the puzzle. Much better than building the houses. You can't tell the difference. I actually should blame my husband, not the game.

  4. You can purchase buildings with your earned income, to build a town, but I found this feature worthless. Would not recommend. I LOVE these games and this developer has produced a good one.

  5. Though I like that series, too! Please fix in the next one. Points are earned based on the time to solve the puzzle, the mistakes made, and the stars awarded.

  6. Squares are filled in where the squares intersect between the two sets of numbers on each side. I love these types. The problem with this game is that it is way too easy.

  8. The problem with this game is that it is way too easy. I am so irritated, I do not ever want to play the game again because I have to start over from the beginning. Other reviewers will do a fine job of explaining these parameters.

  9. I would still recommended the game for others, just be aware of the dreaded start a new game button. This was just a run of the mill mosaic. Please let me go to an achievements page and gloat! More like this please, lots more!!!!!!! Please fix in the next one.

  11. What's strange is that the backgrounds and village illustrations are the complete opposite: bright, sunny, fantasy colored castles and skies. I goofed. Much better than building the houses.

Lots of browns, beiges, mustards, weird brick reds, slate blues: grey is added to nearly every color in the puzzles.

Try it! Please let me go to an achievements page and gloat! The grids vary in size from 10 x 10 to 10 x 15 and perhaps even larger.
