They have really good story lines and they aren't so stinkin' hard that you have to go to the guide for help finding things all the time or skip puzzles. Very nice balance of things to do!! In the main game you play Laura James and in the Bonus you play Will. Yes there were times I needed the hint or skip buttons but that's why they're there. In this case, I was able to obtain all of the collectibles in the Main Game, and not because it was easy but because I remembered to and took the time to search, plus the map was a great signifier for that. It took me several nights to play the game with bonus chapter. Ned figure! Bishop, and oh, no, not those tunnels again! Yes there were times I needed the hint or Enchanted Cavern 2 buttons but that's why they're there. I love all of the series of New York Mysteries for several reasons: Great stories that hold together; puzzles and ihops Ambers Airline: High Hopes Collectors Edition work well within the stories; cut scenes and cinematics that are NOT irritating and are actually enjoyable to watch; interesting dialog and voice-overs from the characters; very nice graphics; and Editionn great interactive map that shows you exactly where you need to go for tasks to complete. In the main game you play Laura James and in the Bonus you play Will. Once again, great visuals and animations, good story; lots of collectibles throughout the game. These had a good challenge to them and took a while to do. I liked it enough to research about the other titles in the series. The main focus is on finding the clues, solving the crime, figuring out the puzzle and all with HOs that are very diverting and much more like mini games than the usual click'n'finds which are beginning to bore me to tears.

  2. But it is what it is! There are a huge variety of mini-games to do. Its a big game with lots of locations, so you will be kept busy. And speaking of collectibles, there are quite a few: 9 apples; 9 shields; 9 treble clefs; 8 statuettes; 16 collectible cards and 35 morphing objects.

Another example: Why do I need a piece of shard with a rag around it, for safety sake , to cut a piece of curtain when there is a pair of scissors in my inventory, which I could have used as well, but was intended for another task.
