I am hoping they come out with another Jewel Quest Solitaire, my favorites as far as card games go. The screens are very dark, making it difficult to see what's in them. My kids can't play it at all. I wait until I am more rested. Untimed HOGs tend to float around too much and you never really finish. All told, Jewel Quest Mysteries: The Seventh Gate continues to suffer like its predecessors before by focusing too much on revisiting scenes and not enough on gameplay variety. I say, "Go away and come back in 2 weeks" maybe they will have found themselves. Hints: refer to the diary before accepting a challenge; the map shows sites to be visited, BUT you can enter the sites in any order. The blaster and row cleaner are the best ones to use. I don't know if it is incompatible with Windows Vista but it takes forever to load a screen. That in itself was kind of annoying, but I still couldn't find the objects I missed during my 2nd attempts without the use of hints. Just remember to answer "no" if you want to keep playing the board because the game gives you the option to give up and continue with the HOG.

I have yet to be able to finish the complete game which means there is a challenge to it I can't seem to get past one of the sub games well into the "map". I enjoyed the jewel switching boards very much. Maybe soon! All in all, a very challenging game. And even then sometimes it is hard to find the objects. Looks like I'll be leaving this one for younger eyes! It was a bit to much work for me to find the last few ideams. LOL I've loved the others in this series, but if newer ones are as difficult as this one, I'm done with them. There's plenty to do on every screen site: find the HOs, collect jewels you use them to buy special powers , pick up coins you get extra hints with every 3 , pieces of a map, and tiver tokens! If I have to replay a level it is a little easier. The coins were also hard to find. The game is timed, which I like; being timed makes you keep going. Related Stories. I wish they had offered an untimed option. The jewel boards move so slow that in the later boards I cannot finish them, and I always master these games quickly. I have played the game 3 times through, I would have perhaps wanted it to be a DinerMania longer, but I Kukoo Kitchen enjoyed playing all 3 times! Is it worth a game ticket? My kids can't play it at all. When you have objects this small it waste alot of time trying to find them. If you have enjoyed the Jewel Quest series, yes, spend the ticket. Most of the specials for the jewel boards are useless. All the scenes are quite dark especially at the top of the screen; even using a hint, I could not really see the object.

Replaying the game makes you look for different things which is good and keeps it interesting play after play. You keep going back to the same ones again and again.
