Were not the puzzles well thought out and a cause for working the little grey cells? They seemed to put more emphasis on making her believable. I really did like the HIdden object games in this one more than in most because there were more different takes on things to do than in most. There are a list of tasks to do in your diary and the c. Lily's Requiem is just a mediocre, knockoff, not a bad game, but it certainly doesn't live up to Shiver expectations. They were not like the ones where you have to do one thing to get on to the next one, but there were a few like that and then others that were more direct, so the finding of things was more varied. Hint, hint! Still, we appreciate the production of the game which has clearly improved from its predecessors. Hope everyone enjoys the game as much as I did! Journal is helpful as is a jump map which shows places you still have things to do at. The Collectors Edition also has a rescued pet goldfish, and you can change his name from Felix to whatever floats your fish. There are many wallpapers to choose from, very colorful ones. They were all enjoyable in their own part of the story and I especially liked the lead character.

I rate it a BUY. Music was great and added just the right amount of intrigue and the other sound effects were perfect. If you have done everything else and you get to the window in the Cursed House 5 that seems to be keeping you from advancing, don't panic. I recommend you try it without any preconceptions and notice how many fun and interesting things there are to do in just the demo The game was pleasant to go through because it progressed quickly in terms of finding things and getting into the next area. They were all enjoyable in their own part of the story and I especially liked the lead character. Nonetheless, the hidden object scenes and puzzles are impressively crafted. You can choose large icons if need be, and effects, music, and difficulty levels; casual, expert, or custom. There are a list of tasks to do in your diary and the c. One thing I have not found out yet, why do all the ladies have the same hair color!? This game lacks high quality graphics and the story just isn't scary enough to be a Shiver game, it lost it's Mojo! I am very pleased with this game cause it keeps me entertained! My favorite game in this series is the Vanishing Hitchhiker, but this game pales in comparison. The only reason I can figure out why it got such a low rating is because you had to fix the radiator hose BEFORE adding water to the radiator or else you are downright stuck. Even though they hidden object scenes are mainly junk-piles, we enjoyed the variety of formats offered and interactions in the scenes. The Mini Games are pretty good, although they have been done several times before such as using arrows to bend a paperclip in order to push lock tumbler pins to their correct positions marked with a red line on the pin, matching up to the red line on the lock itself. Nothing was too ugly, but for those of you who do not like bright lovely places, well this was a bit seamier so ought to have fitted your desire for what you think is reality. You will use these pearls to buy upgrades for your dilapidated house such as wallpaper, flooring, furniture and decorations. Have fun fellow fishies! No magic tattoos, potions or helpers!! You talk to people and are able to choose lines of dialogue you want to respond with. There is nothing particularly exciting about the gameplay; since aside from the usual features, there are no other special features included. Lily's Requiem is just a mediocre, knockoff, not a bad game, but it certainly doesn't live up to Shiver expectations. The Hidden Object Scenes are varied from silhouetted shape finds, to interactive list finds after all these years I'm still partial to the old school list finds. HOPs are mildly challenging, with several having list of objects with letters all jumbled, so you have to unscramble the word in order to find a puzzle within an HOP. There are achievements to be had too, some of the standards, like not skipping puzzles or h. The HO's and puzzles were fun and offered just enough challenge to keep me interested but not frustrated. There are many wallpapers to choose from, very colorful ones. Very fun game. It has a mix of HO with puzzle and game play.

The Lily's Requiem is a decent game, I just wish the devs would stick to the theme of the series, stick to the same creepy graphics, and above all, don't make me collect pet goldfish and redecorate my house, what does that have to do with a suspenseful supernatural thriller named Shiver???
