I really don't care about the story line. The cut scenes are very well done and the voice-overs are well acted, not hokey. The story is different - a devious Mage in Italy has convinced the people that he has supernatural powers and that Florence is cursed, and in order to save it, all works of science and art must be burned! They are interactive progressive silhouette finds with small puzzles to solve, by finding clues within the scene. Thanks so much for the good maps, bc I had to use them frequently. The hint system requires you to find fans, mostly in the HOS, each fan you find will give you another available hint but you can use the hint for direction without using an available hint. There is a fast travel map, but it does not show exactly where you have available actions, it only says "scene not completed", but you may or may not have actions available at that location. Some other games I have tried recently have made the puzzles way too easy, but these were not too bad. My idea of a great game! Other than that, this was a great game to play and a visual feast for the eyes. Lots of things to do in this game and it has good length. Lots of things to do in this game and it has good length.
