EleFun Games presents the latest thrilling adventure in the Witches’ Legacy series! Witches are being hunted! The Hunters’ Order has returned, and they’re bent on the destruction of all magical creatures, including you! But there’s more to these humans’ rage than meets the eye. Can you reveal your common enemy and defeat an ancient evil before it’s too late? Find out in this exhilarating hidden-object puzzle adventure! We play again as the nameless witch from centuries ago, the Ancient One, and must dispell the Hunters' prejudice about magic. No graphic art, no suspenseful story will creep under our skin and touch us intrinsically as Elefun's game music does. I don't think EleFun should abandon this series, on the contrary, I think they should revamp it, I think they need to return to their roots, they need to return to Lynne and Edward One reviewer suggested the developer revamp the series, and I agree. That's why I always liked this series. We have as always wonderful soundtracks, but this time the composer made use of a whole symphony orchestra including choir and a duduk. Seems like a simple fix to add this option to make spotting collectibles a little less easy? The developers, IMO, dealt with all of the negatives and came out with a Brilliant game that one can actually enjoy rather than getting all stressed out. As for the soundtracks and the voice-overs, they do a fine job in keeping the player immersed in the experience — nothing more, nothing less. We have gorgeous graphics, adorable HOPs - even portable ones that unfold from an alchemist box or a book - and they are varied and entertaining, many with a voice which tells the background story. Rated 5 out of 5 by BooksandGameFan from The one game in a long time I actually couldn't wait to continue playing! Thank you! Not once did I have to go to youtube to get past a certain spot. Then came Bertha the ferret, and it got really exciting and enchanted … before all these androgen, muscle packed, horned monsters took over and drowned everything in darkness.
I'm going to keep this short and sweet. I was bored by the time the demo ended and I had no desire to play further. The mini games appear to be pretty darn easy. The games within were not too hard to play and complete. Then came Bertha the ferret, and it got really exciting and enchanted … before all these androgen, muscle packed, horned monsters took over and drowned everything in darkness. Date published: Rated 3 out of 5 by LikeAGoodStory from Such Possibilities With This Game This game starts out quite slow and frankly, that was disappointing yet there are some good puzzles. The bottom line is, this game actually has a decent storyline, it's a little on the short side, but I was okay with it. Here are a few things I liked and disliked with the game as a whole. Date published: Not to mention, the main characters are thinly developed and therefore, makes it hard for player to get emotionally invested in them. I liked that EleFun has been listening to our complaints about the constant "loading" between scenes, zoom zones etc.
The hidden object scenes contain objects that are barely hidden, and the majority of the puzzles can be solved in under a minute by HOPA veterans. This could have worked, if it wasn't for the Order of Witch Hunters. One more to exorcise : Unfortunately, the twelfth Witches' Legacy is not only the last of the series, it's also the last Elefun game altogether. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by Dargonnoone from Good Game Like others I cannot understand the bad reviews. The games within were not too hard to play and complete. My last complaint, I hated the constant "Recipe" mini-games, they are boring, they are failproof, you can't make a mistake, therefore, it's an unnecessary addition and a waste of time. Remember the little girl Lynn who should have become apprentice of evil witch Elisabeth? The wonderfully drawn and painted scenes successfully convey the magical quality of the game. There are various creative touches that make the journey through the game much more enjoyable. It's relaxing and I love the morphs. EleFun made a huge mistake when they abandoned the original plot and characters. We basically grew up with Lynne, felt her pain of losing her entire family, we feared for her from the relentless evil witch Elizabeth, we fell in love with Edward, our hearts were broken when he betrayed her, we were elated when they finally overcame their obstacles and wed. We have gorgeous graphics, adorable HOPs - even portable ones that unfold from an alchemist box or a book - and they are varied and entertaining, many with a voice which tells the background story.
