A supernatural force is threatening the Royal Musketeers, turning your friends into foes! Can you put a stop to this menace, or will all of France fall? Find out in this striking hidden-object puzzle adventure game!

The storyline was consistent you knew what you were doing and why which is always a plus for me. Lacks anything new! The audio does not disappoint either; the background music provides great atmospheric support for the game and the majority of the voice-overs are on-point. The dialogue was mismatched, that could be a language thing and overall wasn't too distracting. Thanks for the reviews. Date published: Rated 2 out of 5 by Yurnmesis from Yawn! The last few games in this never-ending series were dull and uninspiring with the exception of The Cursed Gift which was prior to Monstrous Alchemy. There are Keywords in Sentence finds, Multiples of the same items, using a torch in a dark room Finding Pairs of Related items, and standard List items. I had a good time playing and I think you will too. Interesting story. This is the newest game in the Haunted Legends series. Game laid out well, moved right along, no problems.

This was fun and fast. I Love this game and find it to be the perfect way to spend a rainy Saturday morning, in fact I had to pull myself away to finish my housework. The storyline was consistent you knew what you were doing and why which is always a plus for me. I love this series as a whole but when I knew that the next Haunted Legends sequel Haunted Legends: Monstrous Alchemy launching, I did not have high expectations. Game laid out well, moved right along, no problems. Music wise, carries the mood of the game very well. I love the different sounds the game makes when you pick things up or get things for your inventory. All in all I highly recommend this game. I usually give them Zumas Revenge try, but after a few I just skipped them…. Interesting story. Saint Germain the Dwarf was oddly Mahjong Legacy of the Toltecs from this game.? Definitely my type of game.

Puzzles and HOs were good. Mini games are horrid either annoying, repetitive or more than one part…old, tired repeats. This time it doesn't get outright booming. Game play was excellent. I always love the Egyptian themed graphics, and the storyline that goes with it. But if you want an easy, funny game then this game is perfect for you. Saint Germain the Dwarf was oddly missing from this game.? The story development allows for moments of excitement as well as suspense, which is ideal for a horror-lite game like this. The Mini Games are very doable, most are of good length and entertaining. The game failed to offer any distinct differences or new innovation. I'd much rather see a Morphing Object in this genre, including Beyond skeletons or shadow creatures which seems more of a fit than a crystal apple doesn't it? I Love this game and find it to be the perfect way to spend a rainy Saturday morning, in fact I had to pull myself away to finish my housework. However, it did have closure at the end which is a plus.

The Mini Games are very doable, most are of good length and entertaining. Music: Fits the game just right. All in all I highly recommend this game. I Love this game and find it to be the perfect way to spend a rainy Saturday morning, in fact I had to pull myself Haunted Legends: Monstrous Alchemy to finish my housework. The Winter in New York was consistent you knew what you were doing and why which is always a plus for me. The Collector's Edition version didn't float my boat so to speak, the Collectible Crystal Apples in itself aren't bad, but using them as currency to buy Costumes is just kind of stupid and worthless. Music wise, carries the mood of the game Battle Slots well. The heart-pounding music and the creepy ambient sounds also help increase the suspense of the game. There were some hidden object puzzles done in a very different way and then there were the regular interactive ones Mystika: Between Light and Shadow seen before. Puzzles are simple and don't take any brain power to complete, but done well. This is the newest game in the Haunted Legends series.

You have an interactive, transporter type map to help you move quickly between locales. If you prefer the CE version of games the Haunted Legends: Monstrous Alchemy has collectibles, artifacts and morphing objects to be found. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by BooksandGameFan from Monstrously addictive and loads of fun!! Music: Fits the game just right. The hand-drawn graphics and whitewashed appearance of their earlier games became dated, and the storylines repetitive. Enjoyed it very much.. At each encounter with Fontainebleau a match game appears, need to use strategy how many to select and in what order and it repeats! The missions continue with a sentence and more choices do you follow him, do you interact with him scenario I failed the mission a couple of times and had to choose a different scenario. Haunted Legends: Monstrous Alchemy Collector's Edition Review The graphics are excellent with good voiceovers but it is a bit odd that the lip-syncing seems to be a hit or miss sort of thing. Also, the objects in the hidden object scenes are far too large —I rarely resorted to the hint button in these scenes. Music wise, carries the mood of the game very well. I am not a fan of having to move a ball through a tunnel without hitting the sides, that was used a lot! The remaining extras are always found in CEs such as a bonus game, strategy guide, etc. I usually give them a try, but after a few I just skipped them…. The Collector's Edition version didn't float my boat so to speak, the Collectible Crystal Apples in itself aren't bad, but using them as currency to buy Costumes is just kind of stupid and worthless.

I'm really liking what I'm seeing from this new game. The scene designs are spectacularly-drawn and stunningly-painted, so are the special effects and the animations. I always love the Egyptian themed graphics, and the storyline that goes with it. I can only recommend it if you are a fan of the series or just need to fill time. Some of them had objects in dark corners which is just lazy development and the undersea one was annoying the first time timed and seemed way too familiar in design Date published: Saint Germain the Dwarf was oddly missing from this game.? So overall, a pleasant enough way to while away a couple of hours, but I would suggest getting it as a special or with a coupon. While we appreciate the option to switch between Hard and Easy modes in most of the puzzles, the underlying concepts behind these puzzles are still quite simple. 7. The other is the small, only one object to find 5 times game, those are wayyyy too easy. I will say that the CE Missions were a little more interesting than I originally thought. You truly do go on a nice little adventure.

  8. There were some hidden object puzzles done in a very different way and then there were the regular interactive ones we've seen before. But if you want an easy, funny game then this game is perfect for you. Of more consequence was the mismatched to the storyline, at one time they say that there is one more apple, but you know darn well there are two. I can only recommend it if you are a fan of the series or just need to fill time.
