Haunted Train: Clashing Worlds Collectors Edition

Deep Shadows, creators of the Tales of Terror series, invites you to climb aboard Charon's mystical train for another Haunted Train mystery! A strange supernatural phenomenon has appeared suddenly in Amsterdam, claiming many victims. As you investigate, you begin to have strange visions of another dimension, where mysterious figures hint at a diabolical plan. Unless you stop it, the destruction will spread from city to city until the entire world is destroyed! Will you track down the source of the phenomenon and save the world? Or will your investigation be derailed by disaster? Find out in this thrilling Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure game!

Apparently it was sucked into the first rift Daniel closed, this game just doesn't have any mojo, that's why the train stopped! The graphics are weak, the scenery bland and unappealing, and everything looks the same as the last Haunted Train game. Again, in the CE version, each of the scenes have a Morphing Pearl to discover, and the pearls are very well hidden in my opinion, as from what I can remember, the cursor doesn't change to say "here I am" either. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo: 1 Complete the image by finding and moving 7 pieces to their correct position on a split scene bas-relief, then Daniel wastes no time getting to work, closing the rifts, using Charon's Amulet of Eternal Tranquility, to clear a path to the museum to save his beloved, before the rifts consume everything, and everyone! Some, but not many are blended into the scenery nicely. As creative as the tasks were I felt parts of the game seemed more 20th century than 21st. Pleasant, appropriate and atmospheric. Too aggravating. We can't help you out if you write about it in your post, so click here to go to our Help pages or here to contact our Customer Support Team instead. Looked all over for pearls and couldn't find them. Graphics are ok but not great and, at times, they are annoying. The Hidden Object Scenes are typical, with no pizazz, just been there, done that puzzles to solve. I will buy the game and am confident I will enjoy it because they are a fine developer and I have enjoyed what they have done previously - but I hope they never do a singing telegram opening or anywhere in a game again, and I really hope no other developer picks up on it. The map was good and the hint button, if needed, was okay.

Discuss with other players! The graphics were good but not the greatest. I can't even remember what the story is about, but what is memorable about the game is all the puzzles present at every step of the game. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by Italia47 from This game has a lot of potential, redundant at times, but rather good! I love this game and am enjoying it even more than I did the previous game in the series, Frozen in Time. As creative as the tasks were I felt parts of the game seemed more 20th century than 21st. But overall the searches and storyline felt too worn and tedious to work well. Don't get excited, it's not a song you'll be humming spontaneously, but it's an extra not commonly seen in most HO games. Let me preface it to say that this is one of the most clever SE games I've played in a long while. And without a doubt, I recommend this game. It seems that once a new storyline is presented, for example, Alice in Shadowland, everyone hops on the band wagon and presents the same "shadowland" plot. Gorgeous looking HOPS Nestling amongst everyday objects, we have silks and satins, iced cookies and jewelry, fruits and embroidery, tassels and ornnaments and flowers all blending together into one glorious visual Note that your review won't be visible right away: our team checks it before we post it publicly.

When there are a few items in your inventory, which doesn't exceed a certain amount, your left and right arrows are gone. Case in point: I released the evil spirit from the conductor and he should have gradually come out of his stupor, but instead he had the appearance of someone with a fake smile, greeting his guests at the door. No scooby-doo type action or antics or comic-book scenarios. But for some reason, this game seems sloppy, and boring, it's the same story with the same features that have driven so many games into a rut, a rut that some series are unable to bounce out of. The CE version also has hidden Morphing Pearls in each of the 29 Hidden Object Scenes, that were a nice touch, but I've stated many times that I prefer a good Morphing Object within the main game itself. Not much of a challenge unless you enjoy flitting back and forth finding things just to find things. Devs, great idea, and I for one, enjoyed the singing. There are junk pile HOPs, many of them require interactions to complete and are puzzles in themselves. Click here to go to our help pages or to contact our Customer Support team instead. The graphics are excellent, and the game is long, both in story content and in number of puzzles to complete. Note that your post won't be visible right away: our team checks it before we post it publicly. As the game begins, Charon is having a nightmare and knows that Olivia is in danger. Apparently it was sucked into the first rift Daniel closed, this game just doesn't have any mojo, that's why the train stopped!

  1. Tools include a protective Amulet of Eternal Tranquility that you receive from Charon early in the game. Where's the new here folks? The graphics are excellent, and the game is long, both in story content and in number of puzzles to complete. The graphics are weak, the scenery bland and unappealing, and everything looks the same as the last Haunted Train game. 2. That said, opening the game with a scene that is a song is a bad, bad idea. 3. Very clever and many of the mini-games were not carbon copies of others. Some, but not many are blended into the scenery nicely. Please try the demo to see if Clashing Worlds is one you will enjoy as well.

  4. I'm on the fence with recommending this game, for me it was no different than hundreds of other games. Well done, devs! But for some reason, this game seems sloppy, and boring, it's the same story with the same features that have driven so many games into a rut, a rut that some series are unable to bounce out of. We get to roam around puddle strewn cobbles, with wisps of fog trailing our footsteps, townsquares with towering architecture of magnificence in Europe, train stations covered in shiny granite flooring, industrial-age architechture and endless spaciousness. 5. I did like finding the silhouette items from time to time. There are not a whole lot of them you can elect to review then from the menu page , but every one is first rate. This is the first game in a long time that I've enjoyed playing and wanted to write a review on. Once you release some of the characters of their evil spirits, the scene that followed seemed a bit too animated or abnormal to me; as if the editing was done too quickly.
