The mini games are pretty easy and ones we've seen before like turning tiles to complete a picture and turning pipes etc.. It would be nice to have the option to get just a nudge in the right direction instead of just skipping the puzzle entirely or being told exactly what to do. Empress of the Deep 2 is undoubtedly a superficially pretty game that casual hidden object fans will probably lap up, but everyone else is just going to wish the Rapture was actually coming to mobiles. The Hidden Object Scenes are basic Listed items with no interactions available. Hope number 3 is in the offing soon! Flaws: The map is worse than useless. No way will I buy it. Anyways, this sequel had a great continuing story line, plenty of HOSs, and puzzles that were not brain bending. And the game actually throws in a bunch of new and exciting things and so while this one is quite different, it's still very enjoyable. Often you'll need to backtrack across a whole level to pick up an item you couldn't have possibly noticed before, and would never have known you needed without the hints. I am waiting patiently for the next installment. Really enjoyed this addition to the series.

Empress of Empfess Deep 2: Song of the Blue Whale A gentle, often sumptuous-looking adventure that's let down by trite hidden object challenges, insipid puzzles, and ArkLight bemusing story. I found myself dawdling through HO scenes, taking in the sights and soaking up the atmosphere. It's artfully and tastefully done. The only annoying thing was the delivery of the main character's dialogue; at times, I really thought she was Mad Mouse to break into "Valley Girl" talk. As for the Platinum Edition, the few extras were fine but not necessarily worth the extra money. Loved loved loved all the animals in this one, great idea, maybe Double Clue: Solitaire Stories could be worked out for a third Empress??? Overall, a great yhe. Play it its worth the time!! Had to Sony a few puzzles, Mahjong Carnaval 2 when I play again will do better I hope. As the empress you're charged with releasing four children imprisoned by your evil sister, but are some twists to the tale that keep it from being stale. The graphics are clear, there Megaplex Madness: Now Playing two modes of play, hints recharge Ejpress bit slowly in advanced mode, and HO scenes aren't cluttered. So, it truly is like a full fledged second game. The game itself isn't difficult, but I do recommend this Collectors Edition because of the built in Strategy Guide. Across the nine fairly brief chapters, you'll do a modest amount of Whape well, tapping to go to a different areassolve occasional puzzles that wouldn't cause Professor Layton to break a sweat matching shapes and Bubble Zoo 2 is apparently the only trick in the designer's brainteaser Amerzone: Part 2and hidden object-hunting. Absorbing and relaxing hidden object Whalr.

Hope number 3 is in the offing soon! Graphics do not seem as fresh as the first games, but still well done. Date published: As for the Platinum Edition, the few extras were fine but not necessarily worth the extra money. Can't wait for the next one to be continued But this is really beautiful graphics. Beautiful graphics, great sound effects and soothing music, easy to move around in and a bit twisty at the end. ZEM -- not at all your typical match 3, and I mean not at all! Note that the HO part is minimal, fairly easy, and at least the hidden object games relate to the story. Overall, this is a doable game for people who are good at strategy games, and those who are not. The tapes showing Pandora's evolution into madness or evil don't really add a lot if you played the original game. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by shorenuf from Escape into another world, get hooked on the bonus game! There are HOs to find and mini games to figure out.

A few puzzles not worth talking about. Some items are extremely difficult to find because items are very well blended into the scenery. Plus more! Graphics were beautiful. I have played hundreds of games, and there is no other Treasures of Egypt like Whalf series, the storyline is like no other. I am waiting patiently for the next installment.

Just don't expect much HO action. All the different areas that you needed to explore just made this a truly unique experience!! Not real difficult, but not a slam dunk on being easy. Fantasy concepts and lots of running around Replay: I might play it again if I need to de-stress, but this really is for a younger audience and also presents little challenge. The story line is wholesome, full of heart, uplifting and conforms to a high moral standard. The Mini Games are fairly easy, there are a lot of puzzles requiring you to flip tiles over until a picture is complete, the only thing difficult, is figuring out which picture is the correct one. If you play these games all the time, like I do, then you'll notice it's a little too short, but aside from that it's a great buy! Give this one a go! Why get the CE -- well, you will collect 6 items that give you pages from the wicked sister's diary -- a little more insight into the story, but that's not the best part. It was better than the first EOD, and passed a good hours at my snailish pace nicely. Play it its worth the time!! Rated 5 out of 5 by anabigfish from Very Good Sequel I very much enjoyed the first game in this series and was immensely excited when I saw that they made a part 2 and so when I started playing this one, i had similar expectations. My opinion is yes, the CE adds quite a bit to the game. I am really attracted to games with beautiful graphics and fantasy concepts.

But frankly the Hints button does a pretty good job of helping you along, which isn't always true in games. The clues in the pictures were a little hard to see. It's much funner that way! Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by spiritlaughing from Fantasy Fun Throughly enjoyed this one. The mini-games are not overly challenging, but they are enjoyable. The animals were well drawn with actual animal sounds. She heads to sky and another adventure. But this is really beautiful graphics. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by PhillieKat from Beautiful and fun game! As the empress you're charged with releasing four children imprisoned by your evil sister, but are some twists to the tale that keep it from being stale. Artwork: Magic. That said, the graphics are astounding and it was good fun.

  1. She heads to sky and another adventure. Being 48 years old, I'm all about a challenge! Great special effects. Often you'll need to backtrack across a whole level to pick up an item you couldn't have possibly noticed before, and would never have known you needed without the hints.

  2. Overall, this is a doable game for people who are good at strategy games, and those who are not. I didn't find all the cartridges necessary to unlock the bonus game, but wasn't interested in going back to find the rest. Often you'll need to backtrack across a whole level to pick up an item you couldn't have possibly noticed before, and would never have known you needed without the hints.

  3. But I especially liked that once you've completed your tasks in a scene a large bubble pops up that says "area cleared," so you're not wasting time wondering if you've gotten to everything. The game is player-friendly with prompts in each scene, such as arrows that indicate your next direction, and a magnifying glass that appears on its own to draw you closer for a look. Hopefully there will be a third sequel to this amazing game with the beautiful graphics and twisted plots! It would be nice to have the option to get just a nudge in the right direction instead of just skipping the puzzle entirely or being told exactly what to do.

  4. Give this one a go! Issues like this suggest that too little care has gone into drawing you into the story. Absorbing and relaxing hidden object game. The background music was fantastic. Flaws: The map is worse than useless.

  5. Artwork: Magic. It is my honor to give this game the maximum star value. Fantasy concepts and lots of running around

  6. That said, the graphics are astounding and it was good fun. The second game of the series has Anna learning more about her past and her sister. The story line, music, graphics, and variety of scenes lend themselves to a top quality gaming experience.

  7. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by hoolahan from "Fantasy adventure" Beautiful graphics, more strategy than hidden object but still one of my favourite games. Love the extra part that really has the walk through attached to the book! However, to my disappointment, it rates only as okay in my book. It's incredibly positive for adults and children, alike.

  8. Absorbing and relaxing hidden object game. Date published: Good mix between adventure and HO! It's much funner that way! I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys playing this type game.

  9. It was a good game. A few puzzles not worth talking about. The story line is wholesome, full of heart, uplifting and conforms to a high moral standard.

  10. Your main goal, for example, is to rescue four Children of Light, but it takes a good while to work out why they're important and why Anna should be bothered anyway. You don't just wade through a junk pile; the objects blend into the scenery. Had to bypass a few puzzles, but when I play again will do better I hope. Across the nine fairly brief chapters, you'll do a modest amount of exploring well, tapping to go to a different areas , solve occasional puzzles that wouldn't cause Professor Layton to break a sweat matching shapes and patterns is apparently the only trick in the designer's brainteaser book , and hidden object-hunting.

  11. You go through one after another beautiful, elaborate scene with special effects -- only to pick up one or two items. It makes getting around sometimes frustrating. The richness of the scenes and the variation in the scenes did not allow you to become bored.

  12. Lots of puzzles to work out and hidden objects to find. I always think, wouldn't it be grand to have such a world. I have played hundreds of games, and there is no other game like this series, the storyline is like no other.
