It's probably not for experts, unless you like an easy game. The Crows league seems a sinister cult, sort of secret society, claiming to protect children. So far a bit different from the usual HOP's. For example, note the names of the two "guest" characters, Alan and Lenore, in both games. It would seem we have a heroine to add to the detectives, but she's as deadly as whoever is ordering the murders. You might not look innocently at water in the same way ever again. But this is where the comparison ends, at least as far as anything positive is concerned. Lots of hard work went into this game. The characters and voices, as always, are rendered perfectly, the period dress and scenery indoors and out are very detailed and interesting. However, you do get to replay the puzzles and HOP scenes and there are quite a few achievements. We will have to learn more about them, in order to free the children.   2. But the graphique and the ambiance are perfect. Rating: 1 E. However, there are several mini-HOP scenes locating a small number four to six of crows, buttons, chalk and numbers. Ring bells in the correct sequence by matching them up with a given code. I don't want to give away any of the plot!!!

  4. Lenore is "free" of any such "distractions. A nice transformation for this old franchise. This game demonstrates ERS at their best — beautiful old-style graphics combined with a horror-lite tale. You will also need to open doors with specific colored keys to proceed.
