The requirement to keep the mouse button depressed for the whole time I'm moving the pieces around coupled with the need to move the pieces quickly, makes this game a no go for me. The music is very different than in most Patchworks and is beautiful IMO. Sometimes it was a challenge to "beat the drop down" in order to click on them.

For younger folks, or people without hand and finger issues, this would be great. If you liked that one, you'll like this one. I wouldn't recommend it for a purchase. I played through the whole game it's raining outside and when I was done, said: "So what? A unique sound lets you know that you made a boo-boo lol! Besides the hidden objects, there are other items to find: candy canes, hidden spaces, "trick or treats". Other than that it was a deightful little HO game and good for most any age group! Not much ploay after halloween though. This game is by the same makers as 'Mosaics Galore', another patchwork game. By level 34 I was having to use clues. Boy was I wrong. 1. For the life of me, I don't follow that logic. There are a lot of mini games and most of them are pretty easy so kids won't get frustrated but still fun for grownups too. The gameplay consists of Hidden Object followed by a simple puzzle. Took me a few hours to go thru, but it was just plain nice for a change!

  2. My bad. The least you can get from any level is one. You can earn a total of 3 keys per level. The graphics were somewhat basic but nice and bright. Graphics were cute, story line matched the title.

  3. The kids and mom were horrible. I liked the graphics but had a hard time with a few items either being too small or not looking like what was listed. After just a few games I found my hand, fingers and wrists were cramping and painful from having to continuously hold the mouse button down to place a piece. Cute story.

  4. Some of the items might confuse teens and younger like Ankh but there are numerous hints. If you let go of the mouse button the piece 'fell' and it counted as a 'mistake'. Date published: Rated 3 out of 5 by verimeri from tiny pieces Many of the mosaics have very tiny pieces.

  5. By level 34 I was having to use clues. We had a great time playing it together. It was definitely worth playing for the whole family!

  6. The HO scenes have extra elements that you find while playing for bonus points. Good story line for the kids. The scenes were well drawn and objects were not hidden in an annoying way. A great array of textures, from silks and fabrics to stained and frosted glass, woods to marble textures.

  7. One for completing in the time limit, one for making NO mistakes and another for completing the level. Only 2 things I didn't care for were the animation--the girl really looked like a boy--and the drop down thing at the top whenever you found a candy cane. It's pretty easy, but still remains enjoyable.

  8. After just a few games I found my hand, fingers and wrists were cramping and painful from having to continuously hold the mouse button down to place a piece. FYI, "Alice's Patchworks" is another great one. What was really nice was the new types of mini games offered.

  9. The hidden candy canes twist is exciting! For younger folks, or people without hand and finger issues, this would be great. This is a good thing, yes?

  10. Just nicely enjoyable. What makes this game great, as with it's sister Mosaics Galore is the replay ability. It is just fun to play.

  12. Nothing scary here if you let your little ones play. So I guess that means this game lasts longer for me because I can't play it all at once. There are some images that may be creepy to younger kids.
