This game is different from other games. The voice acting was nicely done, too. The only drawback would be the graphics. There is no actual change in difficulty between Easy and Challenge other than that in Easy mode, you do not need to find all the words, but in Challenge mode you do. Where the plot of many hidden object adventures is thin, predictable, and strays away to nothing at times, with horribly unsatisfying endings, this game has a strong story and characters that develop throughout the game. At the bottom of the screen is a key word or list of key words. At the Challenge difficulty, you start each scene with 3 Hints. The word association was such a nice change of pace from the regular "find the object". Strange things are happening to Jess now that she has turned 30 and she doesn't know how she ended up in a dark room with a strange and mysterious man who is having her recall all of her memories one tarot card at a time. My recollection is that they are all inside locations, be it a room in a building, a boat cabin or a car. I found that Challenge was just right for me. Final Assessment: I am very glad I bought this game. Once you found all the word-parts for a particular word, there was a cut scene. Which for me was about 55 times too many. I really enjoyed the HO scenes Carxs the puzzles, and I loved the storyline. The detail in each of the locations is rather good, although some objects are very small, and sometimes difficult to recognise pen, pin, pencil?? Some of the associations were slightly obscure, but that just made the game more challenging. This was masterfully done. Clicking on a card brought up an HO scene. I really enjoyed the little video movies that told the unfolding story of Jess.
