I was waiting for the game to improve, but it seemed to me like it was getting worse. Buying at the reduced price is a good buy for a game that is more fun than challenge. The sounds are not all that great but I usually go with the speakers turned off anyway as I think most of the sounds out there are boring. Not to difficult, not to easy. I like to play the card games. Also, they could be quickly skipped. Come on Gamehouse people, you usually have some really fast paced, extremely exciting, easy to see, not a strain on the eyes games This game was extremely repetitive with absolutely no gameplay whatsoever. There is a lot of text dialog that you have to click through. Story: You take on the role of a detective who has been summoned to Eastville Opera House to investigate the murder of the Queen of Drama, Dolores Molinero interrogating 5 suspects. WOW was that a nice change. Please note that we can't help you out if you write about it in your post.

Not to difficult, not to easy. Puzzles: I'm not a fan of these however did most of them but skipped the rotate the rings, maze, slider picture, and number pads. I have enough in my life to keep me occupied. Bad Parts: Graphics were not very good. You get a few things in inventory, but its a no-brainier what to do with them. Would have been very disappointed if I had paid for this game. Also, they could be quickly skipped. I believe that most of the negative comments come from those that do not like HOG. I'm quite sure you'll love it! Certainly not fast-paced and I found the chief detective very pompous and annoying. I Virtual Families can't recommend this game at all. I only used the hint 3 times for the whole game. You get a few things in inventory, but its a no-brainier what to do with them. I have enough in my life to keep me occupied. And the hint button refilled Tbe when playing the casual version. The HOG scenes are a pile of little itemsnone of which are related to the flow of the game. I like games that have a good story line and are challenging.

  1. Certainly not one of the better games I have played. If you like HOGs, this one is fun! I fiddled with it for several minutes after I had it complete, but had to skip it in the end out of frustration. HO scenes: Find by word list and the ones in yellow or green color that you find are your inventory items.

  3. BTW, I do my best resolution for my day's problems when I work puzzles. The cut scenes are long and consist of very hard to read test, that beg for skipping. The story line is not one of the best but it is in keeping with the majority out there.

After 30 minutes, I had the choice to watch paint dry or continue this game, i went for the paint and found it more enjoyable. Bad Parts: Graphics were not very good. I appreciate a game where I don't have to remember or find things that are so crazy.

You do get some inventory however there is no "wandering around" to this game or having to figure out where the inventory items go as this game does have sparkles to it, tells you what to do and what inventory to use. They are more into adventure. No variety in the game.
