Children's publisher Scholastic has taken this beloved time-passer and developed it into a series of books and interactive CD-ROM games - one of which is the downloadable I Spy Fantasy. The game opens to a child's room where clicking on the aquarium leads to an underwater adventure, the sand toys lead to an adventure in a medieval castle, and the rocket ship takes players on an adventure in outer space. A bucket of beach sand and toy soldiers form the basis of the medieval-themed Sand Castle adventure; a model rocket and hanging mobile of the solar system inspire the sci-fi-themed Blast Off, and a fish tank is the inspiration for the oceanic adventure Deep Blue Sea. In solving the 54 puzzles, children expand their vocabularies. Brings back alot of memories, now my son is very grown. As children succeed at finding the objects, the riddle words change color to reflect that they've been found. Overall, I give it a mid score of 5 out of Some are set in unusual places, including a dark cave where the cursor becomes a flashlight. The second time, you play, there are a new set of objects to find but the riddles at the end remain the same, with just one or two differences in the cut scenes. Designed to help kids aged six to ten develop skills like problem solving, vocabulary, and visual memory, I Spy Fantasy features nine adventures dealing with dragons, wizards, aliens, and sea creatures. There are three levels of difficulty in all.

There is also no way of saving the game at any given time, so it's important to play the second game consecutively, otherwise it will take you back to the start.   2. Players also aren't penalized for clicking in the wrong place. In solving the 54 puzzles, children expand their vocabularies. So where's the challenge, you ask? Move through various scenes, and SPY the hidden objects within the scene. But i garentee that your children will love it.

Thankfully, the scenes don't have to be completed in any sequential order so if you get stuck on something you can move on to something else and come back later with a fresh set of eyes.
