A mysterious figure in red... Something's driven everyone away from Linden Shades. No one's been back since that time of terror when the kids drew startling images of blood-red ghosts, and the police were no help. Your editor's sure there's a story hidden in the Shades. Can you get the truth, off the record?

I don't always want to play a brain-buster. Linden Shades is an abandoned orphanage that was rumored to be haunted. And sometimes, I can? The family has encouraged him to slow down a bit since he had back surgery two years ago. The credits were a blast, that was fun to read. Live actors lend a distinctly unique feel to the cutscenes. I don't have a television or cable TV, so GameHouse and Netflix is all I have for entertainment except for my animals. Winter months are over and my orchards call me. I would recommend especially for first time HOP players. Thanks GameHouse! I haven't had a chance to look at the "making of" video yet, but this game is by Eipix, so it'll be well worth watching - Eipix never disappoints! Your editor once covered the story, but was eventually pulled away to other duties. Even the credits are fun to read! No dark rooms or prowling sorcerers, just an abandoned orphanage and some strange people in red. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a nice relaxing game without a lot of violence.

The sound of water swirling around rocks and bubbling Mad Mouse reminds me of laying in the sun next to a creek soaking up the warmth, which I was really supposed to be herding the cows into the barn for the evening milking. I did like the additional storyline info in it, but I think it would have been better to have that in the main game and do something different entirely for the bonus. If not, it's okay, I'll have plenty of time when things slow down again. Simple puzzles are challenging without being too obtuse.
