Shadowplay: The Forsaken Island Collectors Edition

Mad Head Games brings you the latest thrilling installment of the Shadowplay series! It’s been three years since your brother disappeared while working on a top-secret project. Everyone on the island was lost… or so you thought. When a rescue beacon is activated, it’s up to you to look for survivors! Things quickly take a dark turn when strange creatures begin to attack! Can you uncover what really happened at the remote facility, or will you become the island’s next permanent resident? Find out in this chilling hidden-object puzzle adventure game!

Have you been deceived by a hidden agenda? Everything about this game is perfect for me with realistic characters and dialogue. All up the game, bonus and extras took me about 5 hours to do. The beacon was activated, so somebody must have done it. However, we do think that the second half of the game is slightly weaker than the first half both in terms of the plot and the gameplay. Drones deployed to search for survivors, were unable to detect any signs of life, so everyone is presumed to be dead, including your brother Mark, that is, until an emergency beacon was activated less than 12 hours ago! The music complements the settings, which are unique and not your average scary, old house. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by rainworm from The Shadows are Alive After the first Shadowplay, a psychological thriller, starting at an asylum, the second one was more of an adventure game, spiced with a touch of supernatural. As with all games from Mad Head, Shadowplay blasts off with a terrific opening sequence that immediately captivates us. I only managed to get 2 stars in some of the HOPs because some take a while to do. Due to a failed research project high levels of toxicity had been set free, all employees of the facility were missing after the incident, presumed dead. Date published: I found the storyline different thankfully and, not only is it good, it is well-told. The puzzles are really very easy and perhaps will be too easy for many expert gamers. Have fun playing and deceiding for yourself.

Another thing Forsaoen Mad Jane Angel: Templar Mystery Games always excels at is the production. There are no other games quite like Shadowplay — it is dark, twisted and incredibly engaging. The plot held my interest and most of all made sense even though there's a supernatural element to it. However, I loved them all. But our mission is still dangerous, we need to stick together. The Hidden Object Scenes are decent, but nothing special, nothing new offered. My only Shwdowplay: are that the only CE bling offered are those same boring collectible Spirals they stick out like a sore thumb! The puzzles are really very easy and perhaps will be too easy for many expert gamers. Bonus game was good, too. The Demo was excellent and if you like sci-fi then you are going to love this game. Any Shadowplay installment is usually an instant buy for me, and this one was no different. No idea; I was too caught up in the story and game play to pay attention. Keep an eye out for that ever elusive morphing object in each HOP. The right amount of mystery and challenge [for me, anyway : ], music - wait - WAS there music?

Happy playing fishies. It is assumed, there is still toxicity, so we wear protection gear. This was a must purchase for me and I think most fans of Mad Head will agree. Keep an eye out for that ever elusive morphing object in each HOP. The plot held my interest and most of all made sense even though there's a supernatural element to it. Another thing that Mad Head Games always excels at is the production. Suddenly there is Mark. Its not like they are too hard, but there are a lot of variables to finally get to the end. You play Erica Harris and you are employed by the Corp Tex Corporation to investigate a secret project where a toxic waste accident contaminating Ambose Island has occurred leaving multiple workers dead and one missing There have been so many disappointing HOPA CE games since mid and it is refreshing to see a game that is actually excellent in so many ways. With a found walkie-talkie we can comminicate but are soon attacked by shadowy alien creatures again. Definitely comes recommended. Welcome back Mad Head Games!! Due to a failed research project high levels of toxicity had been set free, all employees of the facility were missing after the incident, presumed dead.

Even though Thr know by now that I love the game and immediately purchased it, I always recommend that you try the demo to see if Shadowplay Fosraken Forsaken Island is a game you will enjoy. It is assumed, there is still toxicity, so we wear protection gear. Looking for that somebody, we enter the building, which is still secured, and search it. These are all good fun to do and I was Fofsaken bored. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by rainworm from The Shadows are Alive After the first Shadowplay, a psychological thriller, starting at an asylum, the second one was more of an adventure game, spiced with a touch of supernatural. It's a sister-to-the-rescue game, but Bro gets his mouse time in Battle Slots Bonus Mother Nature. Everything about this game is perfect for me with realistic characters and dialogue.

But our mission is still dangerous, we need to stick together. The hidden object games are interactive silhouette, straightforward, finding pairs and my ultimate favourite, the sliders where you have a slider going downwards and one going across and you have to blend certain objects. As with all games from Mad Head, Shadowplay blasts off with a terrific opening sequence that immediately captivates us. This was a must purchase for me and I think most fans of Mad Head will agree. You can go back and redo all the HOPs once the game is finished to get 3 stars. But he avoids any touch and leaves only a slip of paper with a map, the advice to look for an USB stick with all information on it. Any Shadowplay installment is usually an instant buy for me, and this one was no different. There is a Morphing Object within the main HOP's in this Collector's Edition version, a feature that would make me jump for joy, IF they were offered in each location scene of the main game, NOT within just the HOP's Some of the HOP's require you to locate 4 items that will then open up an Interactive List find, and some where the items found move aside to expose a puzzle fragment, as well as Silhouetted Shape finds, or combinations of both types of HOP's. Could the beacon be an experimental device causing this contamination? A couple like pass through all the tiles with arrows and match the lines to make a picture took me a while to achieve. The music is mainly orchestral, guitar and piano. Overall, a solid entry in the series, with a couple of jump-scares and a happy ending. The puzzles are really very easy and perhaps will be too easy for many expert gamers. A little more detail on the villains might have been nice.

Let's Play ShadowPlay: The Forsaken Island CE Part 1

Linear, logical plot with not as much back-and-forth as the previous entries in the series. How was anyone able to survive for three years in a toxic environment? Shadowplay: Darkness Incarnate features breathtaking animations and amazing visuals; all the scenes are sharply rendered and look nothing short of stunning. Welcome back Mad Head Games!! Could the beacon be an experimental device causing this contamination? Everything about this game is perfect for me with realistic characters and dialogue. The storybook types are okay but those are rather comic book in style. Our expedition is commissioned by the research company CorpTex. Have you been deceived by a hidden agenda? Get them all and you get an achievement. Due to a failed research project high levels of toxicity had been set free, all employees of the facility were missing after the incident, presumed dead. There's nothing worse than dialogue that doesn't match the character or is monotone. Happy gaming!

  4. Definitely comes recommended. My only disappointments are that the only CE bling offered are those same boring collectible Spirals they stick out like a sore thumb! At one point in the game, I actually jumped because I was startled by an action in this game. The bonus is about Mark stopping the horrible experiments once and for all. I am told that there is an extremely toxic environment so we are suiting up to go check it out and also to see if my brother is still alive too but we start to see ghostly apparations that made me jump more then a few times.

Straightforward plot, plenty of puzzles, nice balance between them and the HOS.

  8. Another thing that Mad Head Games always excels at is the production. Not so with this game developer. You can go back and redo all the HOPs once the game is finished to get 3 stars. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo: 1 Select a button to move the dial either 3 spaces clockwise or 2 spaces counterclockwise, to land on each symbol shown on the clue.
