Fear For Sale: The Curse of Whitefall

EleFun Games brings you the next chilling installment of the Fear for Sale series! Paranormal occurrences are spooking the workers and halting construction at a hotel site in Alaska, so you’re sent to investigate. Things quickly turn dark as apparitions try to keep you away and you’re transported into the past! Nothing is as it seems in this old mining town. Can you keep history from repeating itself and save yourself in time? Find out in this haunting hidden-object puzzle adventure!

The CE bonus took me 1 hour 30 min. This feature does not impress me in the least bit, and it's kind of hard not to spot an out of place eye sketch with huge eyelashes, not to mention the fact that the paragraphs are no different than the info you obtained playing the game! There are also the usual Zoom Zone HOP's where you find a handful of objects that are spread throughout the scene on the outside of the Zoom Zoned area. Some say these are the spirits of the victims who were burned to death when Whitefall was completely turned to ash in ! You will wander through the town, talk to the inhabitants and find out more about the past events and their impact. So we consequently witness a mob which accuses an innocently looking young man of murder. At the construction site you pick up your suitcase which contains a copy of Fear For Sale magazine "Hidden in the Darkness" a cursed watch and a journal that belongs to a man named Norman Grady. Seems, you are about to find out the origin of the paranormal activities of your time in Whitefall! Norm, Olivia — the diary, which told the story of the two lovers. Length of story seems to be pretty good. As always, I suggest you trial the game for yourself. I like a little creepiness in most of the games I play and this fits the bill. Good map and task list.

Extra Fear For Sale: The Curse of Whitefall

There is a HOP in chapter 4 where you hand items back into the scene to a miner. The graphics are on the same level from what we expected from a leading HOPA development team. Phantasmat Reign of Shadows Especially at the beginning 3. Chapter 4 was probably my favorite chapter in this game. The Fear For Sale: The Curse of Whitefall convicts Norman of Olivia's death, but you are convinced he's innocent. When exiting the cableway you meet Norman, who has fallen into an opening in Rebuild the History earth beneath the mine shafts. I've been a fan of this series since it was conceived in The Fea portion of the game took me 3 hours 28 min. Good game. In other words, this is a difficult game so far as all the puzzles and hidden objects. And Whitefall looks old but not burnt down to ashes. All of the scenes in in the game are extremely well-crafted and the gloomy mood of the visuals is appropriate for the game. At the same time, the puzzles are slightly disappointing, especially since the developer could have done more with the puzzles given such a fascinating storyline. This isn't the best Fear For Sale game in the series, but the story line is really good, from one chapter to the next. Not a big fan of them anyway. The amulet which you get at the beginning of the game is a mini game in itself. Hurry Emma because you can't leave Whitefall until the curse is lifted.   2. Elefun games did an amazing job with the storyline but the CE bling isn't worth mentioning. You rush to attempt to save Norman but that leads you to the jail of Whitefall where the deputy sheriff tells you there has been a murder recently and the town is closed. I'm not a big fan of ghosts, demons and things that go bump in the night, but I own several of this series and knew what to expect so it wasn't a downer. Some HOP's have an optional Jigsaw Puzzle to assemble, but the one jigsaw puzzle I assembled, had very dark pieces on a dark background that made it difficult to see the puzzle pieces and where they were supposed to go. Good stuff: All the usual game elements including a Puzzle alternative to the usual HOPs, familiar puzzles, lots of beautiful artwork and music.

  4. Finally I will say that if you like this series you will not be disappointed in this one. HOS are variable, not too many in the demo. And even some of the revised scenes were altered so much I had to check the WTG to see if they were new areas.

  5. You are in the middle of the woods, a path, with an old cart withering beneath, leads further into the forest and small lake. It shows places you have something to do and will transport. Music and effects went along with the action in the scene. Emma Roberts the famous journalist from the Fear For Sale magazine, is on another paranormal investigation in Alaska. How innovative is that??
