I am a Sci Fi fan so was sold on the storyline which did not disappoint. The visuals are flawless and each scene is created with such precision and painted with glowing colors. The hops have become cluttered lately. There is a Bonus Chapter and a page Strategy Guide. If a child who just started kindergarten this year can find them that easily, Mad Head Games may want to re-think the way they do their HOP's! I think you should consider the CE release of the game particularly if you love finding collectibles and morphing objects. The storyline was great fun and the puzzles and hidden object puzzles were a little different from the norm. They continue to release new series games that are incredible! I didn't have to turn any sounds down. In the end I loved this game and now I am going to look forward to another game in the Moonsouls series. In fact, I spent time just looking around each scene I came to. Playing on the easiest mode, Moonsouls: Echoes of the Past Collectors Edition spent over six hours on the main game. Moonsouls: Echoes of the Past does not disappoint when it comes to length either. There are Interactive List items, hidden Symbols within a book, Pair finds that uncover a termite to use as an inventory item and my personal favorite, finding sections within the scene that matches Square Swatches. The main game takes just a little over three hours to complete, and the bonus chapter offers another 45 minutes of gameplay. I love finding hidden objects and that is what drew me to BFG in the beginning all those years ago. I liked most of the hops except the portal symbol one, it had so much movement it made you dizzy. The hops had large objects so your eye weren't strained. Yes, the game might be short, but it was absolutely perfect for me! This alien risked everything, World Voyage deliver a dire message, "Your world is in danger, HE is coming"! I didn't Word Whomp Underground bored. Whether you choose the SE version or the CE version it's definitely a 4 star game experience. Elizabeth Find MD: Diagnosis Mystery it is very well done, but not nearly long enough or challenging enough to be worth it, in my opinion.
I'm rarely impressed with HOP's nowadays because they are just soooo easy, but I absolutely loved these! I found it absorbing and not bogged down by tedious chores or a lot of inventory, meaning everything I had to do made sense. You can also try to earn a higher score, faster time, improve the accuracy or improve the star rating. One of the best features of Moonsouls: Echoes of the Past is the superb drawing of characters and scenery. After you finish the treasure hunt it turns into the ultimate hop that you can replay. As always, EEchoes the demo first. Under the sea part was my favorite with a crane on the front of the Edirion. Right from the beginning, I noticed the similarities between this Echoess series from Mad Head Games to another franchise from this very developer, Beyond. The Lost Sanctum is a quality piece of art and yes, even I found the game to be a bit short although it took me almost six hours to complete. The remaining extras are the standard fluff but for new gamers the in-game strategy guide is always a benefit. Some gamers just want a game to entertain and relax. I tend to play slowly as I have to take in every detail in the scenes and it did slow me down a bit as I was obsessive about finding the collectibles and the morphing objects. There is really nothing new, There is a good jump map available, that shows where an available task is located, It's just nice to have a fun and relaxing game to play. All in all, I find Moonsouls: Echoes of the Past to be an excellent game and a must-have addition to my gaming library. I love puzzles in HOPA games and even though some puzzles are familiar there are still some surprises in difficulty. The hidden object scenes are nice but easy, just as the minigames and the entire game. I didn't have to turn any sounds down.
