In general the game is ok and easy to play. It is as if they are recycled from previous games in the series or from other AMAX series for that matter with little to none new ideas and zero distinctive or memorable qualities. Most puzzles weren't the one's I liked except in the bonus chapter. Considering how uninspired the rest of the game is, the puzzles seem like highlights in comparison. The other good thing I can say is that I appreciate the fact that AMAX stays on target in their games, instead of going in different directions that do not make any sense. The puzzles are challenging but not overly so; I managed the entire game without using the hint or skip buttons once. They are fun and surprisingly creative and the option to play on Hard mode is very much appreciated. It certainly feels like this Funmania a rehash of previous Dark Tales games, but with different character names. The bonus chapter is a story by the male housekeeper in the main game. I play in the casual mode when possibleand this game has that. Most puzzles weren't the one's I liked except in the bonus chapter. Even the locations are utterly dull this time around. The Dark Tales series has long lost its charm and its attempt at originality, with each installment being more and more similar to the one before. The boat maze took me a little while to see how they were doing it but I got it. G, s, the stories are great and I love the puzzles. All in all, a very fine installment!
