Grim Facade: Hidden Sins

From ERS games comes the HOPA classic Grim Façade with another exciting case to solve! A masked vigilante calling himself the Avenger has the town of Coldstone in a death grip of fear, and you're called in by the mayor to investigate. His wife's been kidnapped, and there's a blacklist of potential targets for the Avenger's wrath. Can you stop him before he strikes again, or will you be crossing another name off the list?

Cherche Grim Facade: Hidden Sins

Only one item WAS Grim Facade: Hidden Sins Townsmen: A Kingdom Rebuilt when I found it. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by Taintedfury from Grim Facade: Hidden Sins Another great game too this series - absolutely loved it: Fantastically done graphics with a catchy sound track plus stacks of puzzles which made you feel part of the great story line. This time, a masked man named the Avenger has attacked the Sns of Coldstone and murdered notable figures from his blacklist. I found things, but couldn't pick them up. Otherwise it is a fun game to play. The graphics are sharper and cleaner than those in other ERS-G games, with a striking level of details and many eye-popping sceneries. I caught a couple that way. This might be one reason to buy the CE, if you like to play music later. The introduction showed a murder, as Adelantado Trilogy: Book Three as what I thought was the murder of a child but was possibly a kidnapping. You can figure out what to do without having to hit the hint button all the time, but Worlds Greatest Temples Mahjong is not easy, either. Good mystery!! Despite a few annoying features, Grim Facade: Hidden Sins is a very solid Facads: through and through. Apart from the usual features, the game also featured a special device that activates a mini-game which allows you to collect memory fragments in the area — we found it to be a little tedious. When the price comes down to reasonable, I'll buy it.

The CE kept me up way past my bedtime. The introduction showed a murder, as well as what I thought was the murder of a child but was possibly a kidnapping. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by cajerleia from ERS games have outdone themselves!! One was when trying to pick up a metal bird. Lets pump up the party developers, we are tired of just finding an object to go to a certain location, lets add much more challenge! I am very pleased with my CE purchase. I love the Grim Facade series and this game certainly didn't disappoint me. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by Taintedfury from Grim Facade: Hidden Sins Another great game too this series - absolutely loved it: Fantastically done graphics with a catchy sound track plus stacks of puzzles which made you feel part of the great story line. This game did that and Im glad I bought it! Definitely get one or the other. The detective must catch vigilante before the mayor of the town, who hired him and who is on the list, is killed. I uncovered it but couldn't pick it up until I found and pick up the others.

This review is based upon playing the CE for maybe 3 hours and then playing the demo of the SE for a few minutes. The map I'd good and allows teleportation, which is a plus since you have to go back and forth frequently. All in all a fun game that I have no real complaints about. One where you have to rock back and forth to get out of a trap upside down and then in another you had to beat a boss basically with crossbow, then Grim Facade: Hidden Sins where you had to ride of a horse and shoot at a carriage in front of Jewel Quest Solitaire. I found things, but couldn't pick them up. The second flaw was with the device for picking up the items from the past. It says you need to find them and direct the device to pick them up. It was a little confusing, but clever to break the monotony! For instance in the end of this game, you have to decide on the "should you or Cute Knight you not"

For instance in the end of this game, you have to decide on the "should you or should you not" The graphics were good. I love ERS graphics and they always have some pretty good puzzles. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by kateblue from Definite buy. It says you need to find them and direct the device to pick them up. I had to skip it because there wasn't any way that I found, to pick them up. The introduction showed a murder, as well as what I thought was the murder of a child but was possibly a kidnapping. CE or SE? It had many of the same functions. The gameplay is pretty straightforward, with a couple of hidden object scenes and puzzles thrown in here and there. A detective is tracking down a vigilante who is terrorizing a town for past injustices. Great fun, very enjoyable! All of these elements make Hidden Sins a very suspenseful game as well as a very exciting one.

Also, the hint recharged rather slowly. I can only assume there will be more and worse scenes as I move forward in the story. All in all a fun game that I have no real complaints about. But the murder scene I just revealed in the game is too much. I had to skip it because there wasn't any way that I found, to pick them up. I am very pleased with my CE purchase. Here, I think the CE is worth it. I found things, but couldn't pick them up. The HO scene was to put things where they belonged, rather than the usual list of items to find. It says you need to find them and direct the device to pick them up. Closed down completed areas, which was nice!! But the murder scene I just revealed in the game is too much. You gotta try it. Loved the puzzles; HOs were different each time, so that I had to figure what to do!

I play a lot of these games. I really liked that. Story was great with a twist end. One was when trying to pick up a metal bird. That should be fixed. The map I found to be useless. The map I'd good and allows teleportation, which is a plus since you have to go back and forth frequently. This game was pretty good, but has a couple of flaws in the intro game. But this game was disturbing from the start. Game was laid out well with a good map. The detective must catch vigilante before the mayor of the town, who hired him and who is on the list, is killed. The graphics were good.

  1. BTW another thing that they are incorporating is decision making. Play is seamless and natural. The HO scene was to put things where they belonged, rather than the usual list of items to find. You gotta try it.

  2. I can only assume there will be more and worse scenes as I move forward in the story. Also, the hint recharged rather slowly. The whole concept for collecting thoughts was unique and interesting, but the act of actually catching them was kind of boring because I did have a bit of trouble finding them they are invisible and floating in the air. I caught a couple that way. Great fun, very enjoyable!

  3. I can only assume there will be more and worse scenes as I move forward in the story. An awesome fun game!! The price is too high, as always. I play a lot of these games.

  4. This caught the thoughts as they cruised through the middle of the screen. Otherwise it is a fun game to play. Can you stop him and rescue the people on the rest of the list in time?

  5. The detective must catch vigilante before the mayor of the town, who hired him and who is on the list, is killed. I really liked that. Closed down completed areas, which was nice!! I've played all the Grim Facade games and will be waiting eagerly for the next one.
