Date published: I just ended up waiting out the skip button and then another would appear, and another, and another Honestly, I was able to find most of the items without looking at the list, and there's just no excuse for this! Unfortunately, the trend seems to persist with this latest sequel, The Hunger. Some of the mini-games were fun but all are easy, which is the way I like them. The storyline was pretty predictable. Don't get me wrong the game was ok, I mean I did finish it. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo: 1-Swap tokens along paths to matching related item slots. If you're reading this, Elephant Games, please go back to the beautiful mansions and countryside cottages that made these games so beautiful to begin with. AND got to do it the second time.. The Mini-Games are decent but some of them have vague instructions. I love the Grim Tales series and I own all of them, scroll down for series order but this game was rather boring and way too easy. I used the custom mode so I wouldn't have to wait for the hint and skip to recharge. Still, it wasn't bad. For the most part, the gameplay of Grim Tales: The Hunger is uninspired.

One thing I wish designers would do is have a way to have the computer complete the mini and then allow the player to attempt it again. But maybe because it was so short??? I don't know why he was in there. Although there wasn't a lot of back and forth, Grim Tales: The Hunger map did come in Vegas Penny Slots 3 to see if I had missed anything in that scene. Aside from a really easy adventure component, we had IGT Slots Wild Wolf literally everywhere. There are way too many "navigation" style puzzles in my opinion, Charma: The Land of Enchantment at times, are back to back. I swear, since Big Fish Taoes: it's forums still not sure why that happened because they were very helpful and they got more into mobile games, which I swear will be the death of good, full Fetch, the game quality has Grim Tales: The Hunger down. I'd rather get this game on sale than Tale: full price on it. I was hoping it would take me 2 hours, at least.


There are some good twists. Great graphics and colors. The storyline is decent, but the game features are way too cookie-cutter, it's clear that they poured all of their energy into Detectives United, and rushed to get this game released. Maybe it's because the series has gone on so long they've ran out of relatives and they're running through them once again. All of my reviews are based upon completed play of the game. This game is probably fantastic for a new beginner of HO games who is just getting their feet wet, but for a long-time player, not so much. The Hidden Object Scenes are unimpressive and extremely easy to locate all items quickly. In fact, story is why I play these games. At this point, it is to be expected that Elephant Games would deliver a top-grade product with their every release — and production is one of the few redeeming qualities of Grim Tales: The Hunger.   1. Good graphics and smooth flow of game. I know all the Grim Tales stories have this sort of formula but I've played others that have not left me feeling irritated. The main good points about this were that the graphics and HO scenes weren't muddled and I could see without difficulty. I didn't feel like I got to know the characters enough. The puzzles were also rather easy, most could be done with no information at all and the HO area were quite simple.

About the time I got settled into the game and thought the plot was really taking off, I realized I was at Endgame. There weren't dark shades of purple and black.

Although there wasn't a lot of back and forth, the map did come in handy to see if I had missed anything in that scene. I was hoping it would take me 2 hours, at least.

The story had no major plot twists or turns and just wasn't gripping whatsoever.
