I found the game to be very interesting. The game as a whole is excellent though, with lots of clues and a meandering path to find the Eternal Journey: New Atlantis Collectors Edition. Not that I don't like those - but not in every single game. Much too large, "in your face" out front. A creative story that kept me engaged. The characters were well Mad Mouse out. I am happy to report that this game does not have even a smidgeon of anything remotely connected to the paranormal. You know what else I like about it? They don't use random glyphs for runes. One with a human sure hope it stays that way perpetrator! The bonus game is a continuation of the story, and not a lame prequel as happens so often. The graphics were very good. I highly recommend this to players of every level who enjoy the genre. There were no chants, rituals, ghosts, demons, or witches! Mostly, though the inventory items were used pretty quick. There is an evidence board, with tabs for "residents," "filed evidence," and "un-filed evidence. Do you know how rare those are? We interrogate suspects and establish alibis. I am sidekick to a great detective - who usually leaves all the work to me, but that's alright, because I'm good at it.

I've been waiting for this type of games for a long time now. This game is a definite buy for me It's something different, and it seems for all the asking I see players want, when we get it players find they didn't really mean it! I did use the map sometimes, because once in awhile there was an object in the inventory that wasn't used for awhile and I had to travel back through several scenes to find where it went. The question in this case appears simple enough: was a security guard's death a suicidal plunge, or maybe an unfortunate fall? Will you be able to predict the assassin's next step?
