Opening Scene: There is a young man running for his life - doors are locked - he finally gets outside but is swallowed by a black fog and dragged back into the house. Some of the HOS are interactive such as revealing a piece of a puzzle needed to Tales of Terror: House on the Hill the final object to find the last item. I particularly enjoyed the action sequences and the visual effects that went into constructing some of the different rooms in the house. You are there only a moment when you hear a scream and watch your sister disappear behind a wall while there stands a black shrouded figure. It's like a combination fun house and ghost story. So far, all I've Tricks and Treats across are itemized lists, with some interaction necessary. Doors creaking, sounds of ghosts? THAT is only one of the mysteries you will come rhe and attempt to solve. Not just a haunted house.

If the SE had come out first, I'm sure I would have purchased it at that time. There aren't a lot of Hidden Object Scenes in this game, they are Treror: and they do repeat in the same scene. There's very little character Zumas Revenge of the other members of the group, and Mad Mouse notebook will skip ahead to things you haven't even seen Queens Garden Christmas. There is a hint button that works well most of the time. The graphics are well done, with a dash of creepy and a whole lot of moaning and ghostly chatter in the background. You play a character accompanying your sister on a guided tour of a haunted house that turns out to be exactly that. The sound is very good. This game is good for that. Nice graphics, decent music and sound effects. The HOGs are moderately easy. THAT is only one of the mysteries you will come across and attempt to solve. Looks good and is just long enough to be savored. The extra content is thin also; a strategy guide, concept art, wallpapers, achievements, collectibles and soundtracks. Minigames are varied but not too challenging, and you'll complete each hidden object scene twice. The opening cutscene is not epic, but it is solid and exciting enough only to disappoint us later. You can still click on the map and see what needs to be done in other rooms. Doors creaking, sounds of ghosts? Game play: You trying to find your sister, Hope, whom you've last seen on an outside ledge where a man with a bloody ax is stalking her.

The sound effects are amazingly real and spot on. You can play in professional mode for no help. But, then you come across a hallway intentionally in flames and a man accusing "YOU" of never harming anyone again. It's free and you get an amazing 90 minutes of game time. There are several twists and turns; unfortunately, we did not find them to be very exciting. The characters are so real, as if you were watching a home movie - THAT real. It was so fun it was over to quickly. When all the items are found and the token is completed, the token will fit into a slot to open up a secret compartment.

  1. Visually stimulating. I love these types of games. The puzzles aren't the usual run-of-the-mill puzzles either. Over all I'd say thumbs up!

  2. The Hidden Object scenes are mostly standards with a couple of interactive items. I think that the storyline was very interesting and compelling. You can play in professional mode for no help.

  3. There are many, many clues to find. I do love the creepy. Is he actually referring to "you" or "you" in general meaning the house? Thank you devs.

  4. Mini Games: The ones I came across were definitely not easy but the instructions were very specific. Apparently, it was only recently opened by the owner, and you are there on "Opening Night". Great graphics, sound. Colors gorgeous - greens of plants, rust color of sign over the driveway announcing the house's name. Over all I'd say thumbs up!
