This to me was more of a male part, but the designers chose a lady, so I got my high heels on and played away. The music is mainly orchestral, guitar and piano. There aren't many games quite like Shadowplay — it is dark, twisted and incredibly engaging. Lucky you! Keep an eye out for that ever elusive morphing object in each HOP. Better question is, who or what is the survivor!? I've played over games and this is now one of my favorites. Has your brother been infected? It is assumed, there is still toxicity, so we wear protection gear. Suddenly there is Mark. Could the beacon be an experimental device causing this contamination? We loved all aspects of the visuals, especially the realistic locations, the stunning scene designs, and the grade-A special effects.

Personally I think the CE will be better because the bonus game carries on from the main game. This was a must purchase for me and I think most fans of Mad Head will agree. Give the demo a shot and see if you don't like this one too. I had an awesome time playing this 4 hour sci-fi adventure and another hour with the bonus chapter. So, do you get the CE or SE? I will even go as far as to say that this game has by far, the best cliffhanger demo ending, an ending that leaves you hanging, an ending that entices you to click the "buy now" icon as fast as you can. This is the third edition of the fantastic Madhead series Shadowplay and it's a fascinating to play as the other releases in this series. Welcome back Mad Head Games!! At the end of the game you can play the ultimate puzzle, ultimate HOP and replay any of the HOPs to try and get 3 stars. I am told that there is an extremely toxic environment so we are suiting up to go check it out and also to see if my brother is still alive too but we start to see ghostly apparations that made me jump more then a few times. Happy playing fishies. The attacker, a creature, not sure yet, what it is. Everything about this game is perfect for me with realistic characters and dialogue. I have not bought a game in a long time so this is going to be a blast for me. Overall, a solid entry in the series, with a couple of jump-scares and a happy ending. I liked the story. The bonus chapter was a decent prequel-like addition and took us another 40 minutes. Cons: fairly short game, puzzle difficulty with one exception is only intermediate and not adjustable. What a great little game. The CE bling is fairly standard with nothing outstanding in the package. A couple like pass through all the tiles with arrows and match the lines to make a picture took me a while to achieve. All up the game, bonus and extras took me about 5 hours to do. Definitely comes recommended. The mini-games ranged from being very easy to medium. Thanks for returning to your Shadowplay roots, with another amazing game that tops the creep charts.

  1. Any Shadowplay installment is usually an instant buy for me, and this one was no different. There aren't many games quite like Shadowplay — it is dark, twisted and incredibly engaging. The building itself is a challenge to enter even for experienced casual gamers. It may be the fact that I'm very close to my brother so saving my brother in this game felt like something I would absolutely do no matter the danger. The quality of the soundtracks in Shadowplay are impressive too and they effectively build up the suspense of the game.

  2. Surely, there were still some horror elements that we have known and loved from this series thrown in, but they felt random and failed to make any real impressions. Little creepy but no bad dreams after playing :. Get them all and you get an achievement. Thanks for returning to your Shadowplay roots, with another amazing game that tops the creep charts.   3. This is exactly what I did, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that when I return to the Island, to finish the story, it won't let me down, but after all, this is a very, very, Mad Head World! The mini-games ranged from being very easy to medium. Luckily, the excellent pacing and the interactive storytelling saved it from being dull. Music was not intrusive and the effects went along with the action in the scene.

  4. This is one game that should have allowed you to pick either male or female. A couple like pass through all the tiles with arrows and match the lines to make a picture took me a while to achieve. For me, this was the best out of the 3 in this series. Get them all and you get an achievement.

  7. The Mini Games are actually entertaining, and for the most part, are fairly easy to solve on the first attempt. Have you been deceived by a hidden agenda? As for the third game in this serious I thought it was the better of the bunch. I was into the story from the very beginning and even though I had it figured out about half way through, I couldn't wait to see the bad dudes get theirs.

Overall, its definitely worth investing in this game as it has everything that we want - good graphics, enough of a challenge to want to keep playing, terrific HOPs and mini-games - yep very happy. Music was not intrusive and the effects went along with the action in the scene.

Nonetheless, Shadowplay: The Forsaken Island still featured faultless production. Welcome back Mad Head Games!! The science fiction vibe in the visuals also remained throughout the game, which would have been more appropriate if it was not mixed in with the horror visual elements.
