In Newbie Mode you can replay any level for a better score, in Professional Mode you can only replay the entire pack of 10 levels. Very boring game. I wish I could give it 5 stars, but sadly the devs really missed the mark. I highly recommend this game and please try to get into the game to understand everything before you chuck it away, thinking it isn't for you. A trick I found was when your clicking through the deck, go slow and the card you want will come up, if you go fast no cards matching will ever come up. For those who like a straightforward, no-nonsense solitaire game It is very challenging, solitaire outside the box, and takes a while to adjust your mindset to this riveting game. The word 'continue' is shadowed out so your only option is to 'replay'. The points you earn can be used to purchase Mulligans which will undo your last move including using bonuses, Shuffle allows you to put all cards back in the deck and deal new cards, and a Joker which can be used as a wild card, enjoy! The next scene I am on is the backyard. Storyline: Oh yeah, there was none.

There is no initiative to strive for a great score -- there is no bonus for long card chains which was a big letdown since I played 32 cards in a row. Do you have an issue with your game? I wish I could give it 5 stars, but sadly the devs really missed the mark. The Jackpot meter starts to fill when you make combos of at least 6, and if you make enough combos, you can earn the Jackpot score of extra points. Comon' 8Floor, try again! There are Bonus Sooitaire available to purchase with your coins, Mulligan which will allow you to undo your last move including using a bonus, Shuffle will place all cards back into the deck and redeal them, and a Joker which True Detective Solitaire a wild card. There really was nothing different or fun about True Detective Solitaire. Cards with stars are worth more coins, but the main goal is to remove all Loves Epitaph cards, even if regular cards remain. Comon' 8Floor, try again! Great gaming without time limits and without have to look for hidden objects and go blind. No one's written about True Detective Solitaire yet. I haven't seen anything yet to explain why the game is called true detective. I highly recommend this game and please try to get into the game to understand everything before you chuck it away, thinking it isn't for you. Why do they name them with interesting names and descriptions that makes you think there is an adventure?

True Detective Solitaire hoping it would be like Crime Solitaire;Smoking Gun, but alas, it's just another Mad Mouse version of solitaire. Over the course of 2 weeks, I beat "Newbie" levels and then "Professional" levels. The music is the same. In fact, there is no story, so how would you know you found a clue. If you like Pet Hotel Tycoon that really makes you slow down and think about which card to choose, this game has it happening! Loved this and now going to start on the 2nd game in the series.

I loved this and the first game. I could say it was 'detective-y' but I ultimately tuned it out. What are the gold cards for? Reviewers who gave this more than three stars are either new to solitaire or are not being honest. You don't have to go to a store to purchase bonuses they will occur as you play as long as you have gained the points needed for them as you play. Combinations of 5 or more consecutive cards played will begin to fill the progress meter, if you make several combos, you will win the jackpot. And, again, the level 'count' is too tiny to really read well.

This game is a definite NO purchase for me. Give us an interesting story to follow while we play, and then we'll buy your product. This isn't a bad game for anyone who hasn't already played one of the other ones in this series. The cards are easy to read, and there are lots of bonuses to collect as you go so that if you need jokers, mulligans or what ever you collect points along the way so that you have them. No story, no clues, nothing interesting here. I wish I could give it 5 stars, but sadly the devs really missed the mark. You have to have enough golden Special Cards to make it to the next scene and play a new set of cards. Its the biggest reason I was drawn into it. The music! I was extremely glad when the demo ended. A couple of new, innovative powerups could have been this game's saving grace.

  4. Many hours of entertainment! It has great background music, different levels, a store to buy "boosts" to help your game, different virtual rooms to play in, and a background storyline I haven't figured out yet because I've been too busy trying to "ace" this game.
